4. Purposes of Data Processing

4.1. Creating and maintaining the user account.

4.2. Verifying the age of 21+ and complying with safety requirements.

4.3. Operating the geolocation radar, displaying nearby people within the selected radius and visibility settings.

4.4. Providing the “knock”, chat, meeting, hide user, complaint, and support functions.

4.5. Verifying users and combating fake accounts, fraud, spam, harassment, and other violations.

4.6. Processing plan requests, accounting for payments, and manual activation of Free, Plus, and Pro plans.

4.7. Improving the quality, stability, security, and usability of the Service.

4.8. Fulfilling the Operator’s obligations under the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and protecting the rights and legitimate interests of the Operator, users, and third parties.

5. Legal Grounds for Processing

5.1. The main legal ground for processing personal data is the user’s consent expressed by registration, filling in forms, enabling geolocation, uploading data, confirming e-mail, selecting a plan, or performing other actions in the Service interface.

5.2. Additional grounds include the conclusion and performance of a service agreement, processing user requests, compliance with legal requirements, and protection of the rights and legitimate interests of the Operator and users.

5.3. The user may withdraw consent to the processing of personal data by sending a request to info@nexttoyou.space, except in cases where retaining certain data is necessary under the law, for performance of the agreement, dispute resolution, prevention of abuse, or protection of the rights of third parties.

6. Geolocation and Visibility

6.1. Geolocation is used to match users nearby. The Service is not intended to track another person’s exact location.

6.2. The user independently selects the visibility and discovery radius. The selected radius works symmetrically: the user sees others within the selected radius and is displayed to others only within his/her selected radius and current settings.

6.3. The interface uses soft distance categories: “Nearby”, “Very close”, “Close”, “Within radius”, “Far”, and “Very far”. Users are not shown to each other beyond 3000 meters.

6.4. The user may disable geolocation in the device or browser settings. In this case, some Service functions may be unavailable.

7. Identity Verification

7.1. Verification is voluntary unless otherwise required for safety reasons or to restore trust in an account after a disputed situation.

7.2. Verification materials are used to confirm age and identity, prevent false registrations, and increase trust between users.

7.3. The Operator takes organizational and technical measures to restrict access to verification materials. Access is granted only to authorized administrators and only for verification, safety, or legal compliance purposes.

7.4. The user must not upload documents of third parties or forged documents. Such actions may result in account blocking.

8. Transfer of Data to Third Parties

8.1. The Operator does not sell users’ personal data to third parties.

8.2. Data may be transferred to hosting providers, domain infrastructure providers, e-mail services, payment tools, technical support, analytics, and security providers only to the extent necessary for the operation of the Service.

8.3. Data may be transferred to government authorities, courts, law enforcement authorities, or other authorized persons in cases and in the manner provided by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

8.4. The user understands that messages sent in chat become available to the conversation partner. The Operator is not responsible for the user’s voluntary disclosure of his/her data to other users.

9. Data Storage

9.1. Account data is stored for the period of account use and thereafter for the period necessary to protect the Operator’s rights, comply with the law, review complaints and disputes, and prevent repeated violations.

9.2. Data about chats, “knocks”, meetings, and complaints may be stored to ensure safety, investigate conflicts, protect users, and improve the Service.

9.3. Verification materials are stored for the period necessary to conduct verification, confirm status, and prevent repeated fraud, unless the user has requested deletion and there are no legal grounds for further storage.

9.4. When an account is deleted, the Operator deletes or anonymizes the user’s data within a reasonable time, except for data that must be retained under the law, for disputes, safety, accounting, or prevention of abuse.

10. User Rights

10.1. The user has the right to request information about his/her personal data, require its correction, restriction of processing, deletion, or withdraw consent to processing.

10.2. The user has the right to change profile data in the Service interface or contact support.

10.3. The user has the right to delete the account if such function is available in the interface or by sending a request to info@nexttoyou.space.

10.4. The user has the right to complain about another user, block him/her, or hide him/her from the list.

10.5. Requests regarding personal data must be sent to info@nexttoyou.space. The Operator may request confirmation of the applicant’s identity before fulfilling the request.

11. Security

11.1. The Operator takes reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, loss, or destruction.

11.2. The user must independently ensure the confidentiality of the password and must not transfer access to the account to third parties.

11.3. The user must not provide strangers with a phone number, address, documents, bank details, passwords, confirmation codes, or other sensitive information.

11.4. If the user suspects that his/her account has been compromised, he/she must immediately contact support.

12. Cookies and Technical Technologies

12.1. The Service may use cookies, session identifiers, browser local storage, and other technical means for authorization, security, saving settings, and improving the Service.

12.2. The user may restrict cookies in the browser settings; however, some functions may work incorrectly.

13. Changes to the Policy

13.1. The Operator may amend the Policy. A new version is published on https://nexttoyou.space and enters into force from the moment of publication unless another effective date is specified in the text.
